The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is the only statewide organization dedicated to reducing teen pregnancy in Texas. We rely on data and leverage strategic partnerships to promote systems-level solutions that ensure Texas teens have the education and access to contraception needed to make informed decisions about their families and futures.
- We collect, analyze and disseminate research about effective teen pregnancy prevention strategies and programs.
- We engage policymakers at all levels to advocate for public policies that increase adolescent knowledge about sex, love and relationships and expand adolescent access to reproductive healthcare, including contraception.
- We lead programs such as the Texas Youth-Friendly Initiative, working with 19 publicly-funded health clinics across the state to improve their capacity in providing exceptional care to adolescent clients.
- We offer statewide and regional training events, bringing together hundreds of youth-serving professionals for learning, networking and collaboration opportunities.
Each year, we work diligently to amplify the issue of teen pregnancy and its impact on all communities, both large and small, throughout Texas. Click here to download our 2017 Year in Review, to get a glimpse into our on-going work and accomplishments.
