Alondra Medina

Community Engagement Coordinator

Alondra (She/Her/Ella) is a strong Mexican-American reproductive health and LGBTQ+ advocate. She strives to create a safe space for all and be other people’s voices who need help accentuating their needs. As a previous university lead mentor and sexual reproductive health intern, she has expanded on her desire to help others. Alondra is pursuing a Masters of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at UTRGV as she has become firmly committed to bringing change to her community. She continuously pursues experiences that focus on helping and guiding others and has joined as a Community Engagement Coordinator to support The Texas Campaign mission (all the way from the RGV!). When she is not reviewing her planner and working, Alondra enjoys watching bad reality TV shows, going for a stroll at Target, going on adventures while drinking good iced coffee, and finding new Hello Kitty items to add to her collection! Alondra also speaks/writes fluently in Spanish.
