Mayra Yundt-Pacheco

Policy and Data Intern

Mayra works to support the mission of The Texas Campaign through research, data science and soaking up information like a sponge to better educate herself. A fast-talking data enthusiast with a passion for evidence-based policy, Mayra is pursuing a dual degree Master’s in Global Policy and Public Health at the University of Texas at Austin. She recently worked at the IC2 Institute studying human trafficking and digitally modeling the interactions of day laborers and their exploitive employers. She is married to her best friend, a fifth-year UT architecture student, together they parent their increasingly curious young daughter. Mayra enjoys a good conversation, spending time with her family, reading and exploring new places, preferably via scuba diving. There are three continents she has yet to venture to.
