2021 Webinar Series: Implementing Online Safety

A good digital citizen respects others, speaks up when they see something inappropriate, hurtful or dangerous, and protects themselves and their personal information.

During this webinar, you will learn about digital literacy and ethics, inappropriate content, cyberbullying, online sexual solicitation, online privacy, sexting and sextortion, and finally, you’ll receive tips on how to share your professional experiences with children in age-appropriate ways.

We’ll show you how to teach children to avoid online risks and be better digital citizens using NetSmartz resources for grades K-12.

The registration fee is $25, and includes 1.0 hour of continuing education credit for Social Work (SW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Continuing Professional Education (CPE), Community Health Worker, non-certified (CHW), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), and Certificate of Attendance.

  • Utilize innovative and model prevention programs to build program capacity.
