Continuing Education in multiple disciplines will be provided for this event. At this time, the credentials below are available.
Social Work (SW): The Texas Campaign is an approved provider of continuing education credits by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners, provider #6838.
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC): The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is an approved provider of continuing education credits by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, provider #2374.
Continuing Professional Education (CPE): The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is an approved provider of continuing education credits by the Texas Education Agency, provider #902-395.
Certified Public Health (CPH): The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is an approved provider of continuing education credits by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES/MCHES): Sponsored by Texas A&M University, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
DSHS Community Health Workers – Promotor(a) or Community Health Worker Training and Certification Program – Community Health Worker (CHW): Summit sessions can apply to non-CHW certified classes and counter toward CHW certification and renewal.
Nursing Contact Hours (CNE): This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Credit will be given based on total number of sessions attended. To earn contact hours for a session, learners must attend the entire session and submit a completed evaluation form. Certificates will reflect total number of contact hours earned by learner during the conference.
